Khan used to be very popular here in the UK following his Olympic success. He had a lot female fans, white and Asian, so more like a premiership football star than a boxer in that respect.
His popularity has dipped in recent years though. A lot of people think he is arrogant, and of course, the political situation regarding Islam over here hasn't done him any favours at all in that respect.
I still think you would get a lot of British fans over if he fought Mayweather though, both ****** and none ******. Floyd against UK boxer would attract British fans, and Khan, love him or hate him, has a very high profile over here.
It would be very interesting to see how many fans Khan would attract from Pakistan and other ****** countries, and how the US security forces would cope with that situation. It could prove a real headache for them.

Hard to take anything Khan says seriously, when he said he sparred competitively with Ward, then Ward said they never sparred.

      Who to believe?

Pointless as always Dirkhead. You can't illustrate who's most famous, and all that actually means is who's had most media exposure. I reckon Froch is better known among casuals/norms and proper boxing fans know ALL the main players.

I’d like Floyd to make permanent retirement a condition of the contract for the loser. And for their Twitter account to be deleted. I wish Khan would stop fhuckin’ talking.

During an interview last month, Roach claimed that his main fighter, WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao, had scored several knockdowns against Khan in their past sparring sessions.
