dint they try and deaden the nerves in khans chin so he could take a punch? not sure if that will help though if you are sensitive to concussions?

It's fair enough that Alexander is thinking like that. What he doesn't want to do is go looking for the big shots too often.

Collazo seemed to fall into that mindset of thinking that he only had to catch him once and it turns the fight. Abandoning your boxing to try an hit a home run is folly.

As long as Khan picks his shots well and sticks to putting fewer punches in his combos then the belief that he has a weak chin could be used as an advantage to pull opponents out of their game-plans.

If you are not born with a chin, you shouldn't allow yourself to get hit on the chin. The problem with Khan is that he had poor defensive skills and his offensive skills are not good enough to make up for that. The same can be said for his countryman, Ricky Hatton.

Khan's rep for having a glass jaw is his best defence. Fighters go looking for the KO rather than working behind a good technique. It would be better to wait until Khan overcommits, as he often does, then pop him. It's exactly what Garcia did. Timing wins against speed.

The problem with Alexander is that he is very easy to hold and Amir Khan does a great job at getting off and then tying up to prevent return fire. Alexander will be clenched and potshoted all night.

Kevin Cunningham better have a strategy to prevent this.

The media/GBP is selling khan/alexander hard as an eliminator for Floyd. Looking at each's past few fights i wonder why a Floyd fight being pushed so hard by GBP, especially for Khan? Im thinking maybe Khan was a bad investment for GB. Hes coming off a win against Collazo, diaz and Molina, and not the former 154lb titlist as Khan would like you to believe and now devon gets him mayweather? Like i said, a bad investment and GB is trying to get a return by pushing that floyd fight. Which makes sense because khan hasnt really done anything to warrant that fight.
