Wilder has never really built his fundamentals; he's coasting on his raw talent. I wonder about that jaw. We still don't know if he can take a punch.

Wlad does him like Pulev. Maybe Wilder gets a good one in, but Wlad still takes him out.

As for Fury; I don't see how you can confidently pick him. Fury, undeniably, has a weak jaw, and Wilder has the reach and power. It's a 50-50, them two.

yea,,,,fury has been down and hurt as well but I just get the feeling that he can absorb a lot more than wilder. he got up clear eyed from the Cunningham knockdown and came back well. im not sure wilder can come back from adversity like that. he just looks so unsteady on those stilts for legs. he has plenty of time to prove me and his other skeptics wrong tho. worst case for him is he'll always have at least that descent punchers chance with his big power

Why do people say Wilder has never beaten a top Heavyweight when he has beaten Malik Scott?

Also he beat Audley Harrisson. I know Harrisson was far from a top Heavyweight but he was above complete bum level. Harrison only lost to top level Heavyweight opposition by and large, for Wilder to get him out in 1 round was worth something.

I think I'm the only one who thinks Fury has a good chin. When he's been put down he's gotten straight back up and put it on the other guy. He just fooled around and got clipped straight on the chin. Any 200+ lbs fighter who gets a free right hand in can put anyone down.

In what world is Malik Scott a top heavyweight?

Also, I doubt anyone would call Sprott, Williams, Guinn, Rogan et al "top level heavyweight opposition".

Add to that he'd already been starched in 3 rounds by Haye, knocked unconscious by David Price and was 42 years old and had retired 5 times by the time Wilder got to him.

            It meant absolutely zilch.

come on bro,,,,Harrison was a walking corpse. david price put him out in the first round as well . malik scott was his best win but the circumstances of that fight do little for wilder. it didn't even look like the punch landed. I really think scott just quit and took his paycheck

For the sake of boxing we should really be hoping that Wilder KO's Stiverne and goes onto beat Wlad. If he was to take over boxing when Wlad leaves without having beat him, it would be an absolute disgrace. I really hope that Wilder, Fury or Joshua can do it and do it soon.
