I read an opinion poll on Facebook today that shocked me as it was mainly going in favour of Wilder?!! I personally think Wladimir is on a different level and would school Wilder in every department... Your thoughts??

That's because Facebook is filled with clueless casual fans who are butthurt and have probably not seen Wilder fight yet look at his perfect record and think he's some sort of unbeatable monster.

In reality Wilder is an unproven fairly limited fighter aside from huge power, and chicken legs. Probably doesn't get past Stiverne.

This guy is a sideshow attraction being compared with the dominant HW champ of the world sure he hits hard but has not improved one bit technically since his debut and I am not exaggerating at all.

Wilder has been exciting to watch, because he's gotten a lot of early KO's. But then you look at his opponents and realize most of them have been TERRIBLE. Plus there have been claims of fixed fights, which may have some truth to them.

I don't see why Wilder is ranked as high as he is... I think his career has been very carefully managed for maximum show without having to prove he has any go.

It will be really interesting to see how he does against his first REAL test - Stiverne. But like someone else said, even if he wipes the floor with Stiverne (which he won't, IMO), Wlad is on a whole other level.

Wilder is more hyped than Victor Ortiz or Berto... without even having their level of skill proven yet!
