any one bragging about hearns ko ing a small lightweight like duran is really reaching for straws. what duran did do is bludgeon iran into a right barkley and would have knocked him out in the 1st round if the bell did not save him the same guy that destroyed hearns. then the little lightweight duran goes 15 rds with hagger and hurts him near the end of the fight. the same hagler who together with barkley gave hearns brain damage. I liked hearns but duran did much more being the much smaller guy where hearns was mostly the bigger guyWhen did Duran KO Barkley?
And I didn't build up Barkley because he wasn't a Hagler or Leonard. But he's still only a 3rd fighter out of a 60+ fighter career that ended at cruiserweight to stop Thomas Hearns.
So no, Hearns was not easy to knock out. Not even a little bit. Hearns having a glass chin is one of the biggest myths in boxing history.Comment

Well I suggest you watch Hearns stop big guys like light heavyweight champion Dennis Andries or Lenny Lapaglia. Hearns didn't make a career just beating " smaller guys".any one bragging about hearns ko ing a small lightweight like duran is really reaching for straws. what duran did do is bludgeon iran into a right barkley and would have knocked him out in the 1st round if the bell did not save him the same guy that destroyed hearns. then the little lightweight duran goes 15 rds with hagger and hurts him near the end of the fight. the same hagler who together with barkley gave hearns brain damage. Duran wasn't a lightweight when he fought Hearns, Hagler, or Barkley and it's an ignorant statement.I get tired of reading how fighters apparently never move up in weight.Comment

If OP means that Hearns' KOs were not just the result of raw power but a combination of power, speed, angle and set ups, then he has a point. If he means that Hearns wasn't as big a puncher as people make him out to be, then he's either a troll or extremely ignorant or biased.Comment
