now here is what floyd said regarding the 50/50 --
"He ask about a 50/50split and I told him no that can't happen, but what can happen is you can make more money fighting me then you have made in your career," Mayweather said.
Dont ignore parts of the comments just cuz it fits your point of view.

Of course he offered Pac 40mil. I would too when the split is gonna be 40mil for him, 60mil for me AND I get the extra PPV % of the revenue. That can easily be an ADDITIONAL 10-15million.
You really dumb to believe Pac who was on his same exact level at that time in terms of star status would accept a BS offer like that. HE KNEW THAT. That was his easy way to stay away from the fight and get the focus back on Pac not accepting it.
You saying Fraud doesn't need to fight Manny is as bad as Fraud claiming he doesn't need to. It's like your all scared to see him fight a threat, something he hasn't done since Castillo.

Props to Floyd for having mindless-worshipers like you who will dish out PPV money every time to watch Floyd cherry pick opponents with all conditions in his favor going into the fights...

The media is finally realizing without debate now that Floyd never really wanted the fight and is just posturing...
The $40 mil offer was a joke.. it was so much of a joke that Pac is not the star he was then and the fight was no where near as big..and Showtime just offered Pacquiao more than $40 mil for the fight... so much for that offer...
The media knows that you have one side trying to make the fight and you have Floyd's camp doing the same thing over and over... stringing people along while he fights cherry-picked opponents...
But it's finally over... Showtime will not even release Mayweather-Maidana II PPV numbers and Canelo is taking over Floyd's dates...
The Mayweather era of cherry-picking and selling 1 Million PPVs + is over with...

That Statement Tells You All We Need To Hear: "He Feels He Doesn't Need The Fight"
Which means it's too big of a risk, and Floyd can find less threatening fights and still make $30M per. Say what you want, all along Floyd has been concerned he can't beat Manny. Floyd picks fights he's certain he can win. That's how it is. No way he makes more money fighting Maidana twice as opposed to Pacquiao once. Floyd is a weasel. Hagler, Leonard, Hearns, Duran never managed themselves that way, cowering from the best of the best. This has nothing to do with the plethora of excuses Floyd has used over the last 6 years but for Manny Pacquiao is too great of a risk to his branding "0", and Floyd doesn't need that risk. That's why he chooses all these one dimensional, lead with your chin, straight in-straight out, slow, plodding Latino fighters, because they can't catch up with Floyd, and it's money in the bank. Floyd fans hate to hear that, but it doesn't make it not true. The world of Boxing has figured this out about Floyd, so don't be naive fans and sign up for all Floyd's weak, stale excuses. Floyd is taking no chances against Pacquiao, and what an embarrassment to the legends before him.
