This is such a ****** BS story. It's just Roach provoking Khan and getting more media time.

When fighters spar, one is in camp for a fight while the other is usually out of their pre-fight training camp cycle. The fighter who's been in camp is in much better shape than normal having already done much of their conditioning work. You can't compare them based on this unless your very biased.

Khan was right to leave Roach because Roach could only teach an offensive strategy. Khan's already good at offence, but his defence sucks and he can't fight on the inside. He needed somebody who can teach him to survive against inside pressure. If Ward's technique comes from Hunter's teaching then Khan's with the right trainer... even if it makes him less interesting to watch.

pacquiao is notorious for playing around and not taking sparring seriously. as do a lot of great fighters like ali due to the fact that you want to preserve your body for the fight.

amir first started sparring manny when he got with roach and roach put him in there with manny to rebuild his confidence.
