You can thank Floyd's boss, Al Haymon. There's an article on yahoo right now blaming Haymon for the current negotiations not materializing. Haymon doesn't appear interested in making the fight. Think I'm joking? I'll link you to it if you doubt me.

And I'm talking about CURRENT negotiations Flowmoes, so don't get all 2010 on me. I'm talking about TODAY. The now. What is important here.

wow how the fans of duckweathers have spun everything so much over the years. Back in 09 everyone blamed mayweather for the failed negotiations because Pacquiao did in fact agree to random blood and urine screens. He agreed to unlimited urine testing and unlimited blood testing until 21 days before the fight and also he would submit to one immediately after the fight. Floyd wanted the cutoff days to be 14 even though he was told that 21 days was sufficient. What was Floyd thinking that manny would use them for a week and then use the stuff so that you don't grow man boobs for another week and then have a week left for it to clear your system. LOL what would a week of ped use do? funny how Manny has been doing VADA testing for all his last 3 fights which is the strictest and also they do hair follicle testing which can go back 3 months so he couldn't do it in the offseason, and yet he hasn't looked any less muscular or seemed to have lost any speed or power, in fact ive heard people say that he looked more muscular for algieri and more powerful, but I went and watch the youtube videos of all his weigh ins going back to his fights with barrera and he hasn't looked any more or less muscular really in any of them. Andre Berto was accusing everyone of using PEDS and guess what happened? he got caught using PEDS. Floyd just made it up to tarnish Mannys image he is the one who has failed drug tests and HBO even did this whole thing before one of his fights that showed how Floyd uses xylocaine even though its illegal in some states

I read that one too. It basically says that Top Rank is the one actively trying to get the fight done and that is confirmed by Les Moonves, meanwhile nothing has been said by the Mayweather / Al Haymon side. Also what was interesting was that Bob Arum said the fight did 400k ppv's which is contrary to some less than reputable boxing sites have been saying it did 300k. Still not a big number but is pretty good considering Cotto-martinez didn't do that much, neither did canelo-Lara, Canelo-trout, or Marquez Bradley. Pacman did it all by himself against a no named opponent overseas where historically ppv numbers are much less. I think that goes to show how popular he really is

I like how you ignore this part of the article right after it, so whats the hold up now?

"But now, to make the fight happen next year - Pacquiao is willing to yield on all matters, with Mayweather getting the edge in money, pay-per-view revenue, random drug testing and top billing."
