      Please man.

      If you're asking a question...fine. I'll answer.

Toney gets hit as much as anyone. the second line was a bit pure speculation on your behalf because you've probably only seen one or two fights of his.

Toney's chin is made of granite. And everyone and their brother knows I'm not a fan of his but give credit where it's due.

Oldgringo claimed "If you don't add Hagler...your list is trash"

Well I have to be honest.

If you don't have Wayne McCullough.....your list is waste.

seriously....because he has one of the best chins of all time. If you follow boxing....and don't include the Pocket Rocket.

        We have big problems.

            How is that possible?

Lamotta faced equally as big of punchers as Ali respective their weight...and he was never knocked down.

over 100 fights and he stood up...something Ali couldn't claim. Please don't use this "Hit by Heavyweights" analogy...becuase Muhammed Ali was 6'3 225 and that's by no means a small man.

Lamotta could take a tire iron to his face and still stand......Ali could act like he retained consciousness and survive while counterpunching.

Look at the style difference man. Ali was a defensive master who utilized all the right things to keep from getting hit clean....Lamotta led with his head.

If you say Ali had a better chin than Lamotta...Please die. Honestly.

              Bro

when ali faced Liston he was in his 20's when he faced Foreman he ws in his 30's. and these 2 are Monsters and they hit like monsters.

that pretty much tells what kind of chin Ali has.

Ali had a great chin but Lamotta was the best. He took "sugars best shots for 15 rounds and never went down. Watch the third meeting between Lamotta and Ray, no one has a better chin than lamotta, period.

This is by no means meant to diminish the quality of LaMotta's chin because his beard is legendary and is amongst the very first ones I think of when it comes to history's great chins...His beard was amongst the very elite of the elite, no question.

But he was knocked down on at least one occasion though, and that was late in his career against Danny Nardico, as part of the contemporary AP fight report states "Tampa boxer(Nardico) bolsters chance for title bout after knocking Bronx boxer(LaMotta) to floor for the first time in his career."...That happened in the seventh round of that fight, and even if BoxRec doesn't described the knockdown on either's record, I'm sure you can find other sources that state the same thing.

                  Trivial, I know.

Your word is as good as gold man.

Either way he had a great chin, and I'll take what you say as the truth considering I've never seen that fight.
