We all know Devon is nothing special but the media hype machine is treating this like a final eliminator for Mayweather. If Khan gets Mayweather it's purely because Mayweather doesn't have a more lucrative opportunity for that date. At least not one the network will sign-off. The fact that it'll be an east night's work probably makes Mayweather happy too.... he's getting old so can't fight more durable opponents.
Mayweather's a prizefighter. Why would he be looking for less lucrative opportunities instead of fighting Khan?

Plus his last three opponents have over 120 professional fights between them and not a single stoppage loss. That's pretty durable don't you think?

Let's do it. 10 million on Khan, UD/SD/KO/TKO/DQ.

No DQ's if that's what you want. They rarely happen, anyway.

                10 million on Khan: UD/SD/TKO/KO.

                Look at this:

                    You misunderstood what I said.

IF Khan gets Mayweather it's purely [only] because of the money. Not merit. I'm not saying Mayweather should look for a less lucrative fight.

Secondly I was making the point that Khan isn't durable. Not that Mayweather hasn't faced durable opponents.

You bring up a good point though: Khan isn't in the same league as Mayweather's previous opponents in so far as none of the last three have ever bee stopped, whereas we've seen Khan's chicken dance a few times now.

Khan's speed makes him special. That speed is what wins him the fights. Like him or not Khan is ALWAYS in entertaining fights his aggressive nature makes him very vulnerable and fun to watch.
