This fight is truly a 50/50 toss up. It comes down to the war of wills. Khan will be fighting with the Mayweather fight in the back of his mind and Alexander will be fighting for pride to restore his career. The both need to win which may result to a draw unless khan's popularity, politics play into some hanky-panky scoring.

Khan has the ability to make me watch a Devon Alexander fight.

      That's pretty special.

Alexander is right. Khan is nothing special, other than speed. He's not the master boxer he or his fanboys say he is.

IMO, people mistake Khan's speed for boxing skill.

I'll be surprised if Khan doesn't beat Alexander. He's quicker and has better footwork. Plus, just going off the Collazo fight, Hunter seems to have equipped him with some better survival techniques to make up for his lack of close-range skills, and the fact that ref's won't let him push so much anymore.

Anybody who can walk though Khan's pitter-patter flurries always stands a reasonably good chance of winning by KO, but Devon isn't especially durable either (quitter) and even if he gets through he hasn't got much power.

Khan wins this, but how on earth anybody can suggest he's a credible Mayweather opponent by defeating Alexander is beyond me. Alexander was utterly dominated by Porter, and Porter is mediocre at best.

I see Alexander as a fringe contender at 147. Beating the 10th best WW shouldn't earn him a Floyd fight.

These two are fighting over custody of Mayweather's last opponent

If Khan wins this fight then Mayweather's fans will be telling us he's a harder fight than Pacquiao.

Why not? Lack of confidence on Alexander?

I think Khan is overrated, however I don't think Alexander has enough to beat Khan. Still I enjoy a small wager.

10 mill on Alexander. E-mail me if your in.

                      I agree. It's ridiculous really.

We all know Devon is nothing special but the media hype machine is treating this like a final eliminator for Mayweather. If Khan gets Mayweather it's purely because Mayweather doesn't have a more lucrative opportunity for that date. At least not one the network will sign-off. The fact that it'll be an east night's work probably makes Mayweather happy too.... he's getting old so can't fight more durable opponents.
