Arum tried to stifle Mayweather's true potential. That's why Floyd bought out his contract in the first place. Floyd had plans for big money fights with Cotto, Hatton and De La Hoya, but Arum refused to offer him the cash he was looking for. From what I recall, Arum was only willing to give Floyd $10 million for those fights. Mayweather wanted bigger guarantees.

Come on Twako.

Floyd Jr also does not get along with nor like Oscar Dela Hoya, yet has continued to do business with him for years! Floyd fans will say that Floyd doesn't want to let Bob make money off of him yet seem to forget that since 2009 Oscar (the guy that Floyd hates) has been making money off of Floyd every single time he fights.
Floyd likes to boast about how he made a $40mil offer to Pac a few years ago. Where was the hate for Arum then? Why was he willing to do business with Arum then and not now? Where was the hate for Arum when he proudly posed for a pic with Arum and Jamie Fox just 3yrs ago during the superbowl?
Are we to believe that Floyd only does business with people whom he gets along with and likes? When have we ever seen an instance when a fighter refuses to fight someone based upon who their promoter is? This has to be the lamest excuse in boxing.

Floyd is a lame hypocrite, that Arum excuse is lame and laughable, his fight hype video showing a paper he signed saying he signed his contract and showing an outfit he supposedly was to wear for Pac is laughable as well, I could sign a contract and claim the other guy didnt sign it what does that prove? nada, anyone can post up a video of that Ross Greenburg of HBO already said that they did try to negotiate a second time quietly away from media but Floyd decided to go on a vacation yet Arum was no excuse then.
Also when Flowmos say Pac turned down 40 million flat fee, of course, he can't accept that it would break contract with his promoter that was no professional negotiation, who offers money over the fun when the opposing fighters PROMOTER is not involved, Pac would not legally be able to accept that anyway. 50 cent even said Floyd knew what he was doing he was setting up an alibi for why the fight never happened.
Offering someone money over the phone come on dude seriously? If the fight were to be made you have to negotiate with both parties involved.
Floyd actually hates Oscar more yet takes his checks, every time Floyd sees Arum he hugs him. The Arum excuse is inexcusable. If you want to get back at Arum beat his fighter and cash cow. That is what Bernard Hopkins did to Don King, he said I want to take out his last guy Tavoris Cloud and he did.

You avoided the other post I made regarding Moonves said. Is it ok for him and ODH to change their stand on working with Bob?

It's the promoters job to promote and there is no defense for him not doing his job.

Floyd is the only one acting like a tantrum induced teenager because he doesn't like an 83yr old man. So he says...
The bottom line is Floyd said he didn't want to work with Arum years ago, Despite saying that, he tried to make the fight happen with Bob. After the stunt with the countdown clock and the stitches, he decided he couldn't work with Bob.
Seems no different than HBO not wanting to deal with Haymon-it became too difficult to get things done.

floyd and bob made peace years ago and were photographed hanging out together at the superbowl in 2011
it's all just part of the literally hundreds of reasons he comes up with for the fight not happening
if bob died tomorrow he would find some new contract condition to replace it
