    What happened to Max Boxing?

Whats happened to Max Boxing? Did they lose all their top writers or something? Seems like everyone jumped ship?

    Did i miss something?

Were other sites offering more money for them to work?

Used to be one of the more respectful sites right?

probably found better paying jobs, hard to believe these fools are even being compensated enough to even make it worth it.

They're probably still trying to find those 3 failed test.

i met a few boxing writers at some fights and they told me that most of the writers aren't even making that much money. its kinda sad if u think about it.

im not sure how much the top writers at max boxing were making but the better guys went onto bigger things in the past like doug.

one boxing writer told me that pretty much the only ones making good money are the guys who go on camera for their opinions like on hbo, showtime, espn, which as u can see is not that many only a handful.

It has been downhill for them since Dougie left for The Ring. Montoya just is not as good as Fischer and is no where near as clever to be an ******* but still entertaining.

Kim leaving was just the end.

When i think Maxboxing I think Doug Fischer and Steve Kim, with one it was ok but not the same. With neither it is just some place.

I know a guy who writes about a sport for UK press and because it's not a big deal like football or F1 he pretty much only gets paid for his travel to events. With things like sports journalism I think it's a labour of love rather than a job for all but the very top few.
