He is one dimensional but he is good at what he does. Kind of like Algieri but the complete opposite. With the right match ups he will look like a beast.

Like say you put him against a broner who cant move, prov will look like a monster. Movers will always cause him a lot of problems.

lol he hurt bradley in the first two rounds and once again about in the 6 or 8th i cant remember....after that bradley just jabbed his face and but his eye and battered him realizing this guy is one dimensional......lol "holding on for dear life", he was throwing back when he was rocked and provobumkov couldnt even finish him....he got completely battered after that......... dominated, he was like a deer in headlights

Definitely not a Bum but never really got into the hype, believe he's got to much credit over his Bradley loss .Not really a fan but Love his attitude and heart has some decent names on his resume and I'll watch any time hes up against another decent name Hoping him and Rios sqaure off someday.

Someone can be a slick skilled boxer and often crumble up under pressure and not win fights that matter so is that fighter a bum?

I have talked about this before on here and there is this notion that defensive styled boxing is inherently superior but there are different styles where fighters have to do what they do best with what ability they have.

There is no best way to fight other than the one that wins fights.

He's overrated and underrated by fans. He's certainly limited but he nearly ko'd Bradley in two rounds. That was the epitome of out on your feet. I agree though, he is terrible at pacing himself and looks like **** after 2-3 rounds. He only picks it up late in the fight when he's behind. He's no bum though, go ask any top fighter if they want to fight him. Probably not their first pick.

Why don't you ask the guys that have been in the ring with him. In fact, as pointed out already, ask Tim Bradley. Tim's on a short list of fighters who actually have the prestige of carrying a "pound for pound" label -- and I'm pretty sure he'll have an emphatic answer for you as to whether or not Ruslan is a bum.

It's nuts how disregarded dudes are nowadays. Maybe it's just this site, I think it's a microcosm of fans nowadays, but viewers hate or dislike certain fighters because of their fan base. Wtf? I don't recall saying fighters were bums just because I like an opposing fighter. I don't even know how you can watch ruslan and dislike him.
