If he's a bum than most boxers are bums. Doing the math and loving the sport I would say I don't think most of the people in the sport are bums so definitely disagree and think that's crazy ****.

That interview wasn't translated entirely well to Max. Provodnikov merely said Algieri ran so much that it was difficult to land more big shots after the first, he would prefer more fighting as opposed to chasing, but he still feels like he won. Max made a bigger deal of it than Provodnikov did himself. You have to remeber, as much as Provod thinks Algieri ran, he still believes he beat the boxer, so it's not like he was excusing his loss, it sounded more like he was excusing himself for not stopping Algieri after the first round when Max asked him about the success he had in round 1. Provodnikov was otherwise humble in his responses and congratulated Chris.

I've been saying he was overrated from the beginning, not a world class fighter, mid tier though. His chin and power and heart make him a threat to anybody. More of a gate keeper type fighter.
Bradley fought him like an idiot, Bradley was beating himself more than Provo.
Then he beats Alvarado in a highly contested fight (up until the later rounds), Al was severely weight drained and had just come off 2 vicious wars with Rios, rocked badly in both fights.
