  • yahoo calls Klitchko and ex "CHAMP"! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

The yahoo news says "Ex Bocing Champ runs for Mayor of Kiev"
    Champion of WHAT?

    Ducking mandatories?

Getting his face torn off by Lennox like the Terminator in his only real title fight?

    Buying belts?

    Handpicking opponents?

Klitchko was about as much of a Champion as Butterbean was with the IBA 4 round belt.

Most disgraceful "Title Reign" in Heavyweight Boxing History.

You must have just started watching boxing last year or something, there have been plently of disgraceful champs through the years. His title reign was pretty bad, but I wouldn't say that it wins hands down. Braddock milked it for all it was worth, and ducked his fair share before finally fighting Louis, and he lost it right then and there.

The poster must have missed Byrd's title "reign."

Would you prefer Vitali's utter destruction of B-level fighters?

Or Byrd's draw, split- and gift-decisions with B-level fighters?

And needless to say, Vitali's B-level's were much more dangerous fighters than Byrd's.

Vitali at least "reigned." Byrd and Ruiz both clearly lost close decisions to Golota. And Byrd also lost to Oquendo. Ruiz also got shut out by two LHWs. In other words, it was a poor HW era. And Vitali was clearly the best of the bunch, IMHO.

Vitali won the titles from Corrie Sanders, and defended it once agaisnt Danny Williams.

You can try and spin/sugar coat it any way you want, it was a joke.
