If Khan wasn't so self serving in his every statement, he might not be so difficult to like, but he is. Repeatedly he has anointed himself king when his record says he's lucky to be queen.

Khan would beat the brakes off Algeri that much is sure.
Garcia wasnt lucky, he closed the distance repeatedly and got where he needed to be. Maidana put him on ***** street. He survived but was nearly out on his feet.his chin is fine. Cotto used to do the chicken dance frequently at 140. Shoot Pinto made his legs buckle in a fight. Now that Khan is at 147 his body is a lot stronger. Khan took all of Maidana's punches, yet people still claim he has a weak chin. The Garcia punch was a lucky punch, that landed at right on the spot. A punch like that can drop anyone.
In NSB terms Ali has a weak chin with the amount of times he was dropped.Comment

Khan definitely has the skills to be problematic for anyone at 147, even if he is suspeptable to a huge punch.Comment

I used to be a fan of Amir. Everytime he fought, I prayed hard his opponents don't hit that glass chin. I'm over it though. I quit rooting for the guy who suddenly became a contender for FMW's **** talking championship belt.Comment

Golden Boy Promotions President Oscar De La Hoya says Amir Khan (29-3, 19KOs) is a legit threat to everyone in the welterweight division - including the two biggest stars at the weight, Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao.
Khan has an important showdown on Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, when he faces former two division world champion Devon Alexander. If Khan wins, he could very well land a fight with Mayweather.
