Sometimes I wonder what it's like inside the clouded mind of the boxing 'fan' who is constantly just not quite there in their perception of the fighters and the biz of boxing. Think of it this way... the scribes are constantly seeking out Khan for a comment for their boxing site. Constantly asking him questions... most of which are based around the typical scribe questions of some grandiose name-dropping fantasy fight. When reality is Khan would do best with one more higher level opponent if he beats Alexander... then the Floydie fight. Because hate the guy or not, he and Pac offer the biggest challenges by far to Floydie's impression of himself as GOAT. When all the dust clears, that's all this is about.

I will ask this question again, how do you guys rank the current class at 147? NOT COUNTING FLOYD!!!

        I would have to say:

        1.) Khan
        2.) Alexander
        3.) Thurman
        4.) Bradley
        5.) Manny
        6.) Kell Brook
        7.) Marcos Maidana
        8.) JMM
        9.) Robert Guerrero
Wow - Khan beat up Collapso and now he is the 147 King!

        Amazing...truly amazing.

Khans speed will get him a few flurries and a few winning rounds but he cannot take a good shot at all ms he gets flustered. Sounds good in paper but not a good fight to watch.

Should Khan be successful, he will potentially move forward to a 2015 showdown with WBC/WBA welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (47-0, 26KOs).

Khan realizes that a close call win is not enough, he needs to put on a show and win in style.

I'm looking forward to this bout and at a loss for predicting a winner as both are inconsistent. I fear that if Khan wins, then that will be enough encouragement for Mayweather to pick him next over Pacquiao. Therefore I'll be cheering for Devon Alexander! And it is USA vs England besides, USA, USA!!

Khan will win this fight. No doubt about it.
Let's have Mayweather vs Khan then.

Khan is forever looking past his next opponent towards that almighty Floyd lottery. I would not be surprised is Alexander knocks his ass out. The guy is a superstar in his own mind and although I feel that Devon has slipped over the past 2 years, I can't help but think that Khan is MASSIVELY underestimating and will pay dearly for it.

It seems like he's really looking past Devon. Dude is so obsessed with getting that Floyd fight. Devon is not a pushover and could very well win this fight. I think this is really a 50/50 fight.

Before this thread gets deleted for forcing Floyd to get in the ring with Pacquiao as this site is becoming more and more fighthypescene rather than boxingscene...let me just say that we as a boxing sports fans need to figure out a way how to get Floyd in the ring with Pacquiao A S A P. People are talking about ppv numbers and how Pacquiao can't sell *****. The truth is Floyd won't fight Pacquiao even if the ppv share was 99/1 on Floyd's favor. Floyd wants none of Pacquiao since day one period.

We need to start protesting because I'm not watching Floyd fight Amir Khan, Devon Alexander, or Danny Garcia. Floyd's been fighting clowns for way too long. We need to do something.

Once Floyd announces another fighter other than Pacquiao I'm ready to go to that press conference with full gears on with signs that says Pu$$y Floyd and #FightPacquiao.

I'm no Floyd hater but this ***** has to stop. Yes boxing is business but it's also a sport. How do people let Floyd get away making millions fighting two fights with a flat footed Maidena? I want to know who's better. Pacquiao or Floyd?

D@mn Floyd quit ducking and fight Pacquiao.

And no I don't need Floyd's a$$ kissers and his blind followers to tell me who's Brandon Rios and Chris Algieri or Pacquiao needs to get rid of Bob Arum and all that bs excuses. I need them to find Floyd and tell him to fight Pacquiao!

Stop making up excuses. Boxing is a sport yes! But boxing is also a fight! You can't say before a fight...hey I want you to get rid of your wife and I want you to deal with your taxes and I want you to first fight that guy or this guy before I fight you. When you do that it means you're scared but whatever we all already know that.

Floyd if you're scared of Pacquiao...RETIRE plain and simple.

Boxing fans. We cannot let another year, another fight go by without Floyd fighting Pacquiailo. If you're a true fan of the sport of boxing we need this fight!
