I would say he is the most dangerous offensive fighter at 147. His speed is unmatched and he has good power as well. Khan's offense is actually pretty terrifying when you look at his fights, he just doesn't know when to stop throwing.

The only other WW that can match or exceed him offensively is Manny. No one else comes close to those two in terms of pure firepower. When they turn it on they can simply batter you unless you can time them or walk/punch through them you stand no chance.


For the life of me I cannot understand why he can't figure out he does not need to throw 10 shots at once at all times. You would think Virgil Hunter would have tightened him up by now but its a work in progress I guess.

I think Khan is a legit contender for Mayweather, and I think his size and speed make him just as much as a threat as Pacquiao. However, I think that had he chose to fight Thurman instead of Alexander, he would've made a bigger statement. This fight won't put him at the head of the line, because there's always a chance that Floyd chooses Cotto, if no Pacquiao fight.

Why does Amir Khan act as if he is going to be participating in a sparring session on Saturday night? He acts as if the outcome is a forgone conclusion. This will be the toughest fight of his career, even tougher than the two that he got knocked out it. Khan's chances of winning this fight are 50 percent at best and that is the way he needs to start thinking and acting, not as if it is his royal right to fight Mayweather next.
