No, not at all. If you were going off of resume alone then there are no WW that deserve a fight with Floyd. They are all so young and have not had time to get in those top ten fights but some come close.
Danny Garcia and Alexander have been in with more top ten fighters than anyone else so they would come the closest. Other than those two, Canelo would have a resume worthy of another fight. I really can't think of anyone else who has fought enough champs to earn that spot.
I was saying that we should take into account all aspects and not just say fighter A B or C doesn't deserve it simply because you don't like them. Khan is as good a talent as any WW and I would say better than the vast majority, I would take him as a clear favorite over any WW except Alexander, a focused Ortiz, and Kieth Thurman.
That's not to say Khan doesn't have a good resume, he has fought just about everyone he could and 140 and came up and faced a good gate keeper in Collazo.Comment

It seems that the general consensus among fans here is that Khan of all WW is undeserving of a fight with Floyd. To which I have to believe is more fans campaigning for their favorite fighters at the expense of others. If I were to sum up the level of talent of the 147 division based on the comments in these boards it would be: Everyone but Pacquaio and Kieth Thurman suck. What I want is to set the bias aside and lets ask this question.
How good is the current 147 talent pool?
My answer I think with the exception of some very new comers I have them pretty much even. One thing I look at is their careers at 140 and they all have stellar resumes, Bradley, Khan, Alexander, Maidana, Ortiz, Danny Garcia, all have great fights under their belt at 140 and most of them have fought one another at some point win or lose and have pretty consistently fought top ten talent (especially Alexander).
Its hard for me to pick one to stand out from the bunch because I don't consider any of them complete, I think Alexander and Bradley are the most well rounded of the bunch. I would say Ortiz who has potential to be a force but he has no willpower whatsoever. Khan offensively outshines everyone but he has no defensive game to speak of. The same with Danny Garcia who is very strong and has fantastic offense but his defense is really lacking. Garcia has the luxury of a strong chin to counter his defensive shortcomings though.Comment

Interesting, let's break it down further. Were they K.O on the front or back end of their careers.
None of the elite fighters I can think of were getting knocked out by journeymen when they came up, it was always on the decline they started to lose. They started out elite then faded not the other way around.
Ward, Ali, Tyson, Mayweather, Frazier, Foreman, SRR, SRL, Duran, Hagler, Benitez, Hearns, Holyfield, Jones Jr., never had those types of losses on their record until much later in their career, and some of them have yet to taste defeat.
If your going to pick at who they beat to get a fight with Floyd you have to look at all the variables as well. I don't care if you don't like fighter A B or C if your beating champions to get to Floyd you earned your shot, if your his mandatory you earned your shot ( forcing Manny into a mandatory spot for beating Brandon Rios does not count either.
Look at what Manny has done outside of fighting the same fighters at WW that Floyd faced when they are well on their downside (especially Oscar the zombie De la Hoya).
Manny has beaten:
Josh Clottey
Margarito in a fight for a belt that was literally made up for him so he could avoid Sergio Martinez
Brandon Rios
Chris Algeri
Tim Bradley
Thats not the resume of someone that deserves a fight with the P4P title holder.Comment
