Khan needs to focus on winning the fight though. It won't matter whose opponent is better if he loses.

Khan is unbelievably annoying. He comes up with more ways to brag on himself than any current boxer including Broner. Did anybody ask him if Alexander was better than Algieri? Hell no. Pacquiao has fought ten times better opposition overall than Khan. Khan seems to have forgotten the 4 straight bums he fought in the two plus years since Garcia KOed him. There was not a decent fighter in the bunch. Algieri was and still is a world champion. None of Khan's last 4 bum opponents were remotely close to being world champions. Now Khan finally gets his courage up enough to sign a fight with the number 10 ranked welterweight in the world and he has the nerve to brag about it. He should have fought Alexander when the fight was all set to go over a year ago but he chickened out. Khan claims to be a friend of Pacquiao but he attacks Pacquiao in print every chance he gets. Khan forgets one very important detail. Pacquiao has already fought and defeated Algieri by complete slaughter shutout. Khan has not yet fought Alexander and Alexander could very possibly beat the hell out of Khan. Then will Khan want to compare last fights with Pacquiao?

It may be true but he's not that much better than Algieri. They are both B-level fighters.

It isnt exactly something one should be bragging about. And if Khan should lose to Alexander, then that would make him worse than Algieri.

Bragging? He just made a statement that most would agree is true.

Whether Khan wins, loses or draw. Alexander is a better opponent than Chris Algieri.

It eats people up so much that they have to attack Khan in other ways. Funny stuff. Khan could probably say the sky is blue and people would be on here trying to argue with him.
