He makes some fair enough points. Floyd is the A-side and Pacquaio is the B-side. That much is clear at this point in time. Maybe in 2009, it was different but it's 2014.

But this idea that Pacquaio should just accept whatever Floyd offers and "get the rematch" is ludicrous especially when we all know what Floyd's last "offer" was. You're ******** on hundreds of millions of dollars not the usual 1 million-ish paycheques that Paulie is used to.

Given his own past experiences, Paulie should know it's a lot more complicated than that.

Paulie suggested that Pac get 1/3 which is basically what Floyd said when he said that he wanted 2/3 of the revenue. Feel free to disagree, but I think that is fair. Looking at the PPV numbers Pac is steadily on the decline and does and has always done less than Mayweather when it comes to PPV sales. If this is a $200 mil plus fight then 1/3 is $66 mil plus. I think that is a fair compensation. However, all of this is just hearsay. We don't know How much will be put up for this fight, or how much it will actually generate. All of this is speculation and media hype. Until they actually sit down and negotiate then this is nothing more than boxing fans talking.

Manny and TR need to go for broke on this one. Take that 35% and run with it. If he wins he'll be able to get the Lions share on the rematch.. If no rematch, he'll be no doubt the number one draw in boxing. If he loses, oh well he still has other fights out there where he can still be the a side.

Did Canelo have anything to do with the success of Floyds PPV?
Will Pacquiao have anything to do with Floyds PPV success If In fact they should ever fight? If so what Is a fair purse split?

Showtime has 6 fights to make up the +$200m payout to Floyd; you can't sit there and trumpet the Maidana fights without mentioning the massive amount of money that was brought in in the Canelo fight.

$40m + 35% of the PPV upside isn't "nothing"; heck, the $40m offered in 2012 wasn't nothing either.
