khan was a big draw before,
he still is a draw but no way near as big as he once was,
he needs to understand hearn and brook hold the cards on this potential fight,
and thats just based on one reason alone,
that is sky box office ppv
by the way anyone remember when the last time khan was even on sky box office ppv?

im talking about this potential fight,
the way khan is talking is like he has hearn as his promoter with sky box office ppv guaranteed,
but the reality is its brooks promoter who holds the cards to this fight just purely based on it being on sky box office ppv,
thats my point...
by the way i did ask when was the last time khan was on sky box office ppv,
because im just curious...

could you imagine how much sales brook v khan will get,
especially with the build up with ringside, the gloves are off etc,
it will cause a lot of hype, thats just the main event let alone the undercard...
imo i think its the biggest thing when it comes to the negotiations of this fight...
dont get me wrong i hear what your saying khan is the more known name and is more established around the world,
but this is a domestic fight and brook is at least known in the uk

wouldnt be surprised if they made it a bit like lancashire (khan) v yorkshire (brook) sort of theme...

Khan's trying to emulate little Floyd with his arrogant chants of, "I'm in charge". Obviously, if he gets a crack at Mayflower he'll be bending over and taking it whichever way Floyd want's to give it. Khan certainly won't be calling the shots.
I reckon this is just a tactic. Khan handlers want to avoid Brook because the risk return doesn't add up for them. It will cost the the Mayweather opportunity.
Khan doesn't realise that with a 10% loss ratio he's one defeat from total irrelevance.

However with Brook/Hern, the bad blood, the **** talking, i think Khan will want a lot of things his way. Now if he were to lose to Devon, then i cud see a 50/50 fight as far as purse etc...
Brooks mistake after the fight when he said "khan should get in the back of the line"...has turned this into a a contest of egos..its a matter of who is ready to budge..someone will eventuallyLast edited by FrankieBruno; 12-07-2014, 04:28 PM.
