Chavez picks apart Pacquiao and stops him in the middle rounds. It would be a slow, tactical beating...Chavez' body work slowing Pacquiao drastically in the middle rounds.
Pacquiao's handspeed keeps him in it for awhile, but ultimately Chavez is too big, too strong, too well schooled for Manny.Comment

chavez vs pac at 135 is a joke right? Pac neva even fought at 135 yet and that was Chavez' natural weight. Pacs power wouldnt be as good and he woodnt be as quick. Chavez would put the mash on him.Comment

Then what about his terrible beating at the hands of Hoya? lol!
PAC is eating p4p greats for breakfast while Chavez fell short against elites.
Isn't that a sad realization indeed.
But enough said... I do recognize CHavez as a HOF shoo-in, no arguments about that. But to make him greater than his accomplishments is for me, illogical.
UM.
He destroyed Edwin Rosario, Hector Camacho, and Roger Mayweather. And getting 2 KO's over Meldrick Taylor. Oh you're right. He does terrible against elites.
He was already 32 and out of his prime by the Whitaker fight. No way does Pacquiao beat Chavez. Pacquiao's only chance is by KO. And I never seen a prime Chavez rocked. He had one of the best chins of all-time. And one of the best body-punchers of all-time. And we know how much trouble Pac had when opponents take his body. Like say his two TKO losses by body punches.Comment

I think that fight was a matter of styles and pea being one of the greatest boxers ever to set foot in a ring.
all the rest I agree with... this thread is ludicrous.Comment

PAC and Chavez at 130 is a dead CHavez. That guy is nothing more but a Gatti-like fighter. His first 50 or so wins are against Cabbie drivers and janitors. lol!
Just look at the competition of PAC and you will be eating your words again. Like you always do Morancito.
give me a break.
by the way JCC is just too big for pac.Comment
