the catchweight benefits cotto, you really think cotto would fight him at 160? cotto asked for a catchweight against Martinez,i doubt he would want canelo weighing in at 160,but as far as golovkin goes, yeah I doubt cotto would ever face him and canelo would but not now,i think in a year or so and it would be very difficult for him

I think it's part of Canelo's strategy to get GGG down to 155 If manages to beat Cotto at that weight. GGG's desperate for a big fight and big payday so he'll probably end up taking the fight at 155.

I wouldn't be surprised since he pulled thos cards against Martinez. I just think Canelo is firm on the date. That's the date he wants. In terms of the other **** like location, I still think Vegas will be more to neutral for both rather than Texas or NYC. Catch weight benefits both so that's irrelevant. 50/50 split is debateable but I still think that's fair.

You boys are lacking in verbal reasoning skills. Canelo clearly said in the above article that it is Cotto demanding the fight at a catchweight of 155lb's along with 50% of the revenue.

i know marquez doesnt like canelo but he is right this time, canelo should give cotto a 60-40 or 55-45 on ppv split in order to get the date and venue...

Must Be Why JMM Purposely Priced Himself Out Of Wack For $20m To Fight Pac In Macau

I really get tired on Marquez trying to talk about everyone's business as though he's such an authority. Maybe he should suggest to both Canelo & Cotto it's wise to drink your own pee.

that article is a translation from an interview canelo gave to a mexican radio station, on which he said they agreed on that catchweight(not that he proposed) and concerning the ppv split he mentioned that they were hoping for 50-50 cuz obviously cotto wanted more than that... but he didnt imposed the weight or the split.. its all part of the negotiations...

how is Marquez bitter he gave Canelo some good advice which is not bad
first woop his A$$ and ask for more money for the rematch. Cotto could just tell Canelo to **** off with that 50-50 cut Canelo is not going to get that. Cotto can just move on to Floyd
