The Margarito that beat Cotto would go 12 rounds. He'd punish ggg.

Any version of Cotto loses to ggg in 2.

Margrito could not hack it against decent guys at 154, so why should anyone think he could really do anything against any 160 pounder, let alone a killer at 160.

He may last for a while but he catches a horrendous beat down at the hands of Golovkin who would not miss Margarito with anything.

differente weight class, a prime Margarito was at 147 and a prime GGG is at 154.

if they met at 152 Margarito will kill him, if they met at 154 Margarito will go 12 and might stop GGG late, if at 160 Margarito gets good boy'd

You obviously have failed to watch any of his fights at that weight and instead go off boxrec. I bet you won't be able to tell me that with a straight face once you do.

Just fyi, I'm not saying Margs would beat GGG.

I don't think that highly of Daniel Santos and have watched that fight both of them.

Margarito did exactly what at 154 except look suspect against Santos? At 147 he looked suspect at times also if you really want to get into it.

It would be a war, and I love both fighters, but I see Margarito making another victim out of Golovkin by stalking him down and brutalizing him. WARgarito by KO round 11/12, but I wouldn't be that surprised if Golovkin pulled it off. Not many people can handle a prime Margarito, he wasn't the most complete fighter but one of the most dangerous due to his combination of strengths in the ring, and intangibles.

                  Maybe in your wet dreams.

I don't know why it's even a question. Makes about as much sense as asking if Manny Pacquiao could beat Jorge Arce. GGG vs any version of Margo would be a cruel, inexcusable mismatch.

Even loaded gloves and the juice wouldn't help Margs in the one.
