    Think of it like this, would you ever clean a greasy pan with cold water? Of course not you would have to use hot water to break down the grease... its the same thing in the human body, hot water helps to break down the fats faster and digest faster as well.

                When did I claim I was a fitness guru?

                Lemon water can be good before a workout because it is alkaline which makes you feel more energetic.

                    drenlou, I think we're going to have to take this discussion to the Training & Nutrition section. We all remain skeptical because anecdotal evidence just isn't enough to back up these claims.

                      Its really simple, why wouldnt drinking hot water have a benefit on the body?? I can see your skeptical about supplements, but plain water??.
