Floyd would have tagged Paul all day long. Too many holes.

i think for the health of the sport (unless floyd and manny gives us a trilogy) that'd make a lot more sense, a thurman or garcia beating floyd moves the sport forward into the next generation.

It's true, it would be nice to see a younger guy coming in to carry that mantle, it's a pity Canelo coildnt beat Mayweather because he fits that profile.

i feel where paul williams, is coming from...of course he wanted to be the one to beat floyd that makes sense...had a chance imo but floyd never gave him a shot..

but overall this thread is crazy...

whoever knocks fmj off the throne is arguably the king, whether its a vet like manny or a young fighter with all of the right tools, even if it lasts until their next fight...

damn is floyd even fighting real threats or what...

Really? So that's why Hamon and co strategically moved Paul outta the ww division? Typical d-eating Floyd fan playing fantasy boxing.

I don't see how you got that from a fight where Pacquiao totally dominated. In fact, I'm actually surprise how some people sound so sure Floyd would win when both of his performances this year were underwhelming.

Its not about ending the 0 or passing of the throne, its about finding who is better between the two who is the best and making the biggest fight in boxing history a reality.
