Not ******, but ignorant of the current heavyweight division. Get it right, if you're going to critisize me.

I've been focused on the lighter weights since its far more competitive than the heavyweight division. IGNORING the heavyweights now isn't my my fault it's boring and hasn't been interesting to most people since the Peters/Klitchko and Toney/Ruiz match. That was a while back.

Also Brock is a relatively NEW contender. You make him sound like he's a ****ing household name, which he isn't.

that void was there at the same time lewis was. lewis was part of the worst era in HW history. it was there when he was fighting, it was there when he retired, its still there today.

whoever's gonna save the HW division (if it ever gets saved at all), needs to save it soon.

That's a valid argument. Some have questioned whether Holyfield was too old for Lennox by the time they met. There's no question that Tyson was a shadow of his former self by the time he faced Lennox. But I see it this way: he beat a technicially decent Klitchko. Though he was losing, he still managed to hurt the bigger man and stop him on a bad cut caused by his glove (or tape, as some have argued).

you know who history's gonna remember lewis fought? holyfield, rahman, and tyson (and MAYBE klitschko, i doubt it). needless to say, this resume is not very impressive in contrast to previous legendary HWs.

Well, the 70's is going to be hard to compare to. Lennox didn't have a "Norton, Foreman, Frazier, Shavers, Patterson, Liston or Holmes". Lennox did have Holyfield.

hate to knock holyfield, but lewis fought a blown up CW (holyfield), a one punch wonder (rahman), and a very old shot tyson.

ali and holmes fought the best of their era when they were all in their primes, so yes, it is hard to compare.

but even to other eras, lewis' was the worst.

Which makes this era the worst in history.

Who IS the heavyweight champion today? Valuev, Rahman and ? Klitchko?

Calvin Brock is a Popular celeb...hes appeared in many tv shows too, hes ranked 5th in the world and 2 or 3 more fights, he will probably be fighting for the heavyweight title
