On Thursday, the New York Daily News shared about this case. He is known in the boxing world by the name Black Mamba. He was picked up just hours after his girlfriend was stabbed to death.
Margarita Rivera was stabbed to death with a knife in the chest and was also beaten with a pipe. Pro boxer Trevis Hall was picked up and is being accused of killing her.
On Wednesday night he was charged with the murder. He was found unconscious and intoxicated behind a dumpster about 10 minutes from the scene of the crime. The couple had been dating for years before her murder. Both the knife and the pipe were still at the scene.
Back in June he threatened her with a knife but nothing happened. The couple had split up a few weeks before the murder. After her death, Trevis Hall was charged murder and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon. So far there is no word on if he is admitting to the crime.
Trevis Hall is a featherweight with a 6-1-1 professional record. He last fought September 20th in New York.
