  • Comments Thread For: Anthony Joshua: David Haye is One I'd Like To Fight!

Olympic gold medal winner Anthony Joshua (10-0, 10KOs) is growing in confidence as he plows through the competition. On January 31, he steps in the ring with heavyweight veteran Kevin Johnson.

Joshua is looking for a big domestic blockbuster in 2015. His promoter, Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport, is looking to match him against any of the top British boxers in his division - including Tyson Fury and David Haye.

He claims otherwise, but he may as well be.

honestly, who cares about him these days? The time has moved on, there's a new era in british boxing. It would be kind of sad if Haye came back.

Fury holds the British title now, he won it from Chisora. David Price has been talking about going after it too, so there are some interesting possibilities there.

Haye has moved to the US and signed with Al Haymon, so yeah, he might as well be retired.

I'll bet David wishes he'd had done more when he had the chance , Josh is a massive obstacle to conquer for a small ageing heavyweight and may be the thought of these now huge guys will make him think twice, but good luck to him he's been exciting and some times and frustrating. If David is not 100 percent he's not fool enough to tangle with the likes.

A while back now, before Joshua turned pro and before David Price's bubble was burst by Tony T, Haye said in an interview that he though both Price and Fury would be too big for him to handle. He later claimed he'd been joking when he said that, but I think he was just being honest.
