of the Beating Pac would put on his A$$; so we won't get as
far, as The FRAUDSTERS Demands...this time....Easier to

... it'd be more difficult to cover the $25m with 50,000 tickets than it would be with 80,000 tickets.

we already know he's gonna pull the "Manny must sign with TMT" card. Even though Manny is already contractually obligated to Top Rank, lol

Edit: Oh, and he must wear Powerlocks or Grant The****utic.

I do know that this is not between Arum and Jr its between Pac and JR. Business men work together, they can hate after. That big money is more than the hate, there is NO EXCUSE Mayweather Jr that is viable.

IF JR turns this down he is the only fool in the house !

The ball is not in Arums court its in JR's !!

The Pressure is insurmountable !!!!!!! IF jr turns this down it will ALL BE ON HIM not some ridiculous little squabble that amounts to a school yard fight, lame.
Floyd Mayweather Jr is a businessman; he bought out his deal with Top Rank, he pays promoters to handle the logistics for his fights, he's negotiated his own deal with the MGM, and he's negotiated a deal with Showtime/CBS, to the tune of $200m-$250m for six fights.

The fact that folks refuse to acknowledge that very point (for whatever personal reason) is why the conversation gets muddled.

If Mayweather comes out and says that he wants a fight, he has the authority to sign off on that fight. He'd have to make sure that Showtime was willing to air the fight.

If Pacquiao comes out and says that he wants a fight, he's got to see if Bob Arum is willing to sign off on the fight, and Arum has to see if HBO is willing to air the fight.

No matter how hard folks want to push it, Mayweather and Pacquiao aren't on the same level and haven't been for a long time.

Before even going into the time logistics (fight would start 9am, Sunday morning in Abu Dabi to air 9pm, Saturday in Vegas; televised card would start 7am in Abu Dabi), the offer forces Top Rank to step aside.

If Arum agrees to step aside, the negotiations become real (personally doubt that Abu Dhabi ends up being the site, but the good-faith offer would force the site fee for AT&T Stadium in Arlington or Barclays Center in New York over $100m to host the fight).

doubt that Arum steps aside, though.
Arum has already said that he would be willing to step aside. I hope he is telling the truth.

Karceno: Hi Are you doing today, I heard a rumor that you are willing to step aside to make the fight happen is that true?

Arum: "Yes, it's true, if that's what it takes to make this fight happen for the public then, sure."

Karceno: So you are willing to not have the Top Rank logo on the biggest fight in boxing history?

Arum: "Look if it makes business sense, then why not, it's been long enough I'm willing to do my part to make the fight happen for my fighter, and for the people, that's what Top Rank do."

Karceno: So what about this Floyd buying you out for ten million dollars?
              Arum: "Completely not true"

Karceno: Then there is this Muhammed story about buying the fight is this real or a joke?

Arum: "His first name is Akbar, and he is no joke, it's very serious."

Karceno: That must be one heck of a check

Arum: "I'm not going to talk about numbers, but if it gets the fight on then we are all for it."

Karceno: How close are we to getting this finalized, just a percent?
Arum; "Who the f*** knows, we've done our part the rest is all on Floyd now."

"Rich oil dick willing to give 100 gazillion dollars to make the mega fight happen in Sandy Arabia"

Pretty sure something like this came out way back in 2010.

Taxes alone would deter this. This is one reason why Mayweather isn't as global as Pacquiao. China for example is an untapped market and even selling a PPV for a dollar would eclipse all record very easily.

That is if we're talking about $$$. UAE and even DUBAI have the world's richest investors and shelling a 200-300 megamillion bucks for this fight would be enticing IF MAYWEATHER would think about "money" itself.
What PPV product, in any sector, has worked in China? Forget the boxing sector for a moment.

China is an untapped market of over a billion people; the caveat that folks always ignore is that China is home to half a billion subsistence farmers and countless other poverty-level poor people.

you need the establishment of a middle class population for any of this "untapped potential" to actually get tapped.

Keeps saying Mayweather Promotions will promote the fight and become partners. That leads me to believe Mayweather has already been in discussions with them and come to an agreement. Your turn Manny.
