        Why would Floyd fight in the Middle East, when he 99% is gonna need the Nevada judges to score in his favor???

          Freddie Roach Put Pacquiao-Mayweather Talks in Motion

          November 23, 2014:

          Few tell Mayweather what to do, but Moonves***8217; prior lucrative backing has to count for something if the executive feels compelled to ask Mayweather to give the Pacquiao fight stronger consideration than he ever has.

          Sources close to Mayweather have said the unbeaten fighter has never wanted the Pacquiao bout more than he does now.

          Pacquiao is pushing for the bout, from his new Foot Locker ad to his bending in purse-split percentages. He told The Times Friday he***8217;s willing to accept the fight at terms the Mayweather side has told The Times will be required to make the fight happen.

          Following a Pacquiao-Algieri worldwide publicity tour, Roach said he urged Moonves to meet with Arum at the promoter***8217;s Beverly Hills home.

          ***8220;They didn***8217;t like each other,***8221; Roach said of a strain that dated to Pacquiao***8217;s return to HBO after fighting one bout on Showtime in 2011. ***8220;Bob promised [Moonves] three fights ***8230; and only gave him one. ***8230; [Moonves] actually told me, ***8216;I***8217;m not dealing with the devil.***8217; ***8221;

          ***8220;I kind of sneakily put them together, about four months ago. I knew it was risky. ***8230; [Moonves] wanted to make the fight without Bob and I said, ***8216;That***8217;s not going to happen, you***8217;ve got to bring him in.***8217; They walked out of that meeting with their arms around each other, happy.***8221;

          Let's hope this is it!
          Damn.. This site reports everything Roach says. I wonder why they didn't report this??

            I cannot fathom Jr turning this down to protect his O, its beyond my mind how anyone fighter could turn down this money and this great fight.

            IF it happens NSB will explode !

            If it happens many will tear up go away and be excoriated to death and many will say I have told you so for the past 5 years.

            This needs to happen, Jr must come to the Plate , everyone else HAS !
            Floyd Mayweather Jr isn't the issue here, at least as how the Arab dude has talked of the event; Bob Arum is. If you honestly believe that Bob Arum will step aside, taking the fight package offered and letting Mayweather Promotions run the event, come out and say it.

            The UAE group, according to what has been said, do not seem interested in doing business with Top Rank; just how Top Rank did with Joe DeGuardia's Star Boxing, they want to pay Arum a package to step aside and let the fight happen.

            the ball is in Arum's court.

                    You don't make up $25m by charging less, especially with 80,000 seats as the rumored capacity. The math simply makes no sense.

                    Ringside seats at $10,000 a seat (five times the cost of the prior record gate for Mayweather-Alvarez) would help, but there'd still be alot of money to make up.

                      Sure looks promising! Okay, I may be wrong but here is what I see. Pac takes an early lead and drops or staggers Floyd a couple times and wins a few rounds but Floyd takes over from the 4th round and maintains a lead going into the 11th and Pac wins the 12th as a late rush. 116-114 for Floyd. And a much better than expected fight with both guys looking good at times but Floyd edging out Pac in a near war.
