Amir Khan does seem the sort of guy that would happily drink bleach if coerced by his peers.
Dude is a people pleaser with the i.q of an egg sandwich. There is no harm in anything he says and his heart always seems in the right place both in and outside the ring. He seems a genuinely good guy and his heart, speed, idiocy, natural talent, and dodgy chin make him a perfect t.v. fighter.
I am not sure why people have a problem with Khan having self belief.Comment

Khan deserves no more (or less) respect than anybody else.
His boxing achievements must be weighed against his constant claims of immortal greatness.
It is rare for Khan to actually deliver against what he says he will, and when things don't go right he just blames anyone else but himself.
In short, King Khan is just NOT as good as he thinks he is.
This is clearly demonstrated by his performances over the past 2-3 years.
Some posters are right when they compare him to Victor Ortiz, there are certainly some commonalities - success at a very young age, weak chin, big mouth and entertaining fighters. Khan has a bigger heart than Victor.
The main thing they both share is being deluded that they are top tier fighters.Comment
