He also had a television deal with New Zealand television that payed him better than that too.
    Chisora got $300k.

I dont think wlad has ducked fights its just the heavyweight division has been bad for a while albeit slowly picking up now
He didn't say Jennings, he said Pulev (as #1 contender), you added Jennings seemingly trying to legitimise what is another sub-standard voluntary defense along with Mormeck, Pianeta, Wach etc.

Povetkin and Pulev were mandatories, Wlad was forced to fight them. When he eventually fights Fury, it'll be because he's forced to fight him too by the sanctioning body.

Yes, Wladimir was clearly avoiding Povetkin and Pulev... I think you'll find Povetkin swerved a Klitschko fight, twice.

Now you're suggesting he's avoiding a big, clumsy oaf. Nice one.

        You're blinded by hate.

True or false, Povetkin and Pulev were mandatories which were enforced?
True or false, Klitschko didn't want to fight Pulev and tried to make another fight, despite Pulev being mando for a year?
True or false, Klitschko postponed the purse bid for the Povetkin fight multiple times?

I don't hate Wlad. I view him as an A level fighter, a good bloke and one of the HW greats.

However, when his voluntary fights are Pianeta, Wach, Mormeck it's clear what they do. Jennings has no shot, he didn't even beat Perez, and the back-up plan? yeah you guessed it

Wladimir Klitschko’s manager Bernd Bönte confirmed that if an agreement cannot be reached by all parties involved for a fight between unified heavyweight champion of the world Wladimir Klitschko and world ranked Bryant Jennings, that it would be the last American heavyweight world champion Shannon Briggs who would be given the opportunity. The site of the next fight for Klitschko is said to be New York City, which happens to be where Briggs was born and raised.

he tried getting povetkin well before he was mandatory and he also didn't have to face haye who was probably his most dangerous opponent. nice try tho. anyone claiming hes avoiding fury is delusional

No, Povetkin was mandatory back then too except it was with the IBF instead of the WBA. He became mandatory in 2008 after beating Chambers.

Wlad made the Haye fight for a $32m purse, who wouldn't in his position?

Mandatory or not, he fought them, and credit to him for that, but let's not pretend he has been voluntarily seeking out the best available. That has not been their pattern.

As to Fury, he's the best placed challenger ranked #2 by TRB and #3 by Ring and now a WBO mandatory. Wlad is once again choosing to fight a lesser ranked opponent in a voluntary defense. Read into it what you will.

Oh, I will, and I advise you to do similar.

Wladimir has just secured a multi-fight deal in the 'States. He needs to fight a top ranked opponent, preferably American, before setting up a huge unification bout against the winner of Wilder-Stiverne.

Fighting Fury does nothing for his legacy. Who has Fury fought? A disillusioned Chisora? Cong****. Let's also get real: Fury has turned down a Klitschko fight before; he'd do the same again.

the same logic can be applied to pretty much everyone else too.

Well, Wladimir is a class apart. He'll clean out the current crop, and people will still **** on him

What other champion fights 3 times per year in his late 30s?

If you hate his voluntary defences just disregard them. Wlad earned his right to choose the opponents. He still beat the biggest threads. Fury became relevant only recently - fight will happen and then you will come back and say Wlad is avoiding AJ... Same old, same old..
