Not much of a problem with a fight like Hop/Pavlik at a CW, but the MW title being contested at 155 and 159 is flat out ridiculous. 159 is the dumbest demand in boxing that I can think of.....again, how can you be "the man" in a division you don't fight in?
I'm with you 100% on this.

yeap I see Nelo KOd for the first time in his career somewhere in the 7or 8 round, non the less big props to Canelo IF he fights GGG.

I don't understand what Canelo is saying this for? Last time I checked, Mayweathers PPV sells more than Canelo's. He should be more worried about his fight not selling as opposed to Mayweather.

Not to mention mayweather is getting guaranteed money for his fights anyway. So he prob don't care much if ratings dip because of Canelo, he'll get his minimum 30 mil (or whatever crazy number it is) regardless

That's a good point, but all too often it's to even the playing field, not drain s fighter. Like pac v cotto at 145. Cotto weighed in at 146 for his prior fight, so was he really "drained" 1 lb. But you'll hear that argument. Or pac v algieri - algieri was the fighter who'd been at 140 his entire career, but I heard people complaining that pac was draining algieri.
For some reason, only recently have fans complained about catchweights. It was never an issue. History shows back in 1904, weltr champ Walcott v lightwt champ Gans was fought at a catchwt. Other greats like Pancho villa, henry armstrong, Emile griffith fought catchwt bouts. Leonard v Lalonde, Terry Norris v meldrick taylor, Ayala v Tapia, bhop v de la hoya, henry maske v virgill hill. The list goes on...

Cotto make fun of Margarito when he said he would give his life in the ring, Cotto said that was a ridiculous thing to say so if he said that vs Margarito am not surprise he is thinking the same way vs a much bigger stronger man.

Look here and judge by yourselves:

What does GGG sparring Chavez have anything to do with Canelo?

And to those asking about how sparring went between them, it's easy to find a round by round analysis. I would say it sounded like GGG got the better of it but by no means were either of them beating the **** out of each other. If you know how Golovkin spars, that's not his intention-he's not James Kirkland.

Canelo isn't going to duck anyone, that's very clear. Hopefully Cotto-Canelo gets made for May of next year and if Canelo wins, he can officially move to 160. Maybe fight Quillin or some fringe contender at 160, then in May 2016 we get Canelo-GGG!!

Look here and judge by yourselves:

Sparing is sparing, but GGG owned Canelo and did so effortlessly. Has anybody told Canelo that boxing is, "Hit and don't be hit?" I was quickly reminded of the Black Knight fight scene from Monty Python (and Canelo is the Black Knight):
King Arthur: [after Arthur's cut off both of the Black Knight's arms] Look, you ****** bastard, you've got no arms left!
                    Black Knight: Yes I have.
                    King Arthur: Look!
Black Knight: It's just a flesh wound.

[the Black Knight continues to threaten Arthur despite getting both his arms and one of his legs cut off]
Black Knight: Right, I'll do you for that!
                    King Arthur: You'll what?
                    Black Knight: Come here!
King Arthur: What are you gonna do, bleed on me?
                    Black Knight: I'm invincible!
                    King Arthur: ...You're a loony.

King Arthur: You fight with the strength of many men, Sir Knight.
                    [the Black Knight doesn't respond]
King Arthur: I am Arthur, King of the Britons.
                    [no response]
King Arthur: I seek the bravest and the finest knights in the land who will join me in my court at Camelot.
                    [no response]
King Arthur: You have proved yourself worthy. Will you join me?
                    [no response]
King Arthur: You make me sad. So be it. Come, Patsy!
[attempts to get around the Black Knight]
                    Black Knight: None shall pass.
                    King Arthur: What?
                    Black Knight: None shall pass!
King Arthur: I have no quarrel with you, good Sir Knight. But I must cross this bridge.
Black Knight: Then you shall die.
King Arthur: I command you, as King of the Britons, to stand aside!
Black Knight: I move for no man.
                    King Arthur: So be it!
[they fight until Arthur cuts off Black Knight's left arm]
King Arthur: Now, stand aside, worthy adversary!
Black Knight: 'Tis but a scratch!
King Arthur: A scratch? Your arm's off!
                    Black Knight: No, it isn't!
King Arthur: Well, what's that then?
                    King Arthur: I've had worse.
                    King Arthur: You liar!
Black Knight: Come on, you pansy!
[they fight again. Arthur cuts off the Knight's right arm]
                    King Arthur: Victory is mine!
                    [kneels to pray]
King Arthur: We thank thee, Lord, that in thy mercy -
[cut off by the Knight kicking him]
                    Black Knight: Come on, then.
                    King Arthur: What?
                    Black Knight: Have at you!
King Arthur: You are indeed brave, Sir Knight, but the fight is mine!
Black Knight: Oh, had enough, eh?
King Arthur: Look, you ****** bastard. You've got no arms left!
[King Arthur has just cut the Black Knight's last leg off]
Black Knight: All right, we'll call it a draw.
King Arthur: [Preparing to leave] Come, Patsy.
[King Arthur and Patsy ride off]
Black Knight: [calling after King Arthur] Oh, oh, I see! Running away, eh? You yellow bastards! Come back here and take what's coming to you! I'll bite your legs off!

True however neither of those guys are punchers, both easy to rob on the scorecards
