Alexander has "decent" power -agreed- but against lower tire opponents. He hasnt KO'd an elite opponent EVER. He is definitely a good fighter, as I said before, but he does not posses KO- power. As I said, Khan cant jump into punches like he did against Garcia (everybody has KO/KD power against that kind of actions), cause then he will get hurt. But if he fights smart (atleast kind of smart lol ) he should win this one easily.

Im not trying to take anything away from Devon, but this fight is not for him to win. He has immense problems against pure boxers (Kotelnik, Bradley kind of) who can time his punches. Khan is much better pure boxer and has more power.

And his left hook is not some magical weapon wich wins him fights. Yes, it is technically sound and all, but does not carry big ko power. Khan anyways is more vulnerable to quick hooks with the lead hand, and that would be Alexanders right hook.

Pit patting against a guy like Khan leads to only one conclusion: Wide decision loss or KO loss.

Khan vs Brook is much more compelling on paper.

      In Khanland?

So only in "Khanland" do people look at resume and titles won to judge fighter's careers?

On topic - I think Alexander is tailor made for Khan. Brook has a bit more power although I think his power is a bit overrated.

I got Kahn in this. His kriptonite is power and Alexander doesn't have a whole lot of that.

Lol, if you are going to respond then why can't you quote? Is that also a Khanland thing?

It doesn't matter how long it took because it is Brook. Why it matters? Well, you're calling a much more accomplished fighter a "glorified gate keeper", all because Brook gets one good win at last. Khan-Alexander have been on World stage before Noah built the Ark.

It matters due to how highly Brook has been regarded for ages in the media, so him winning a title, is something that was the least expected of him.

I can't help, but think if the roles were reversed between Khan-Brook, all of a sudden belts wouldn't matter because....you know... as there are 4 of them and it is about the names you beat. etc etc etc.

Speaking of media pushed divas does it not remind you of the time Brook getting shoved down people's throats, while fighting C.Jones, Hatton and Robles?

Well, next time he'll think about wearing "10 ounce gloves" for shadow boxing.

You are right. Alexander OBVIOUSLY has better resume than Brook. By miles better. But judging subjectively these two guys right now, I would also have to say that Brook is the better fighter. He seems to have it all in terms of talent, technigue and some power also! (better than Devon for sure, powerwise).

Gatekeeper? Nah, man. Definitely not. Losing a couple of titlefights doesnt drop you that far. Solid contender right now. Alexander has the skillset to give anybody fits.

I do have problems to comprehend how people rate these fighters. Sometimes it seems to me, that people see boxing as follows: Pac, May, Ward, WK.. After that it is all gatekeepers and bums etc. Annoying to say the least.

This one here is VERY solid fight. Might be competitive for 2-3 rounds, also.

Brook, Khan are a notch better fighters than Alexander right now. Still, they have to prove it in the ring IMO. Thats how all this works. Grinding and fighting to get bigger and bigger fights. Not everybody can go the Algieri- route
