if anything this weight favors cotto,if canelo wanted an advantage he would ask for 160 knowing cotto would have trouble with that,i think cotto said a catchweight is something he wanted too,he asked for it with Martinez why not here?...if it's 155 it favors cotto, anything above that like over 157 it favors canelo, but I still hate catchweights

The challenger wants 50-50 split, home court advantage and around a mexican holiday. I agree that Canelo is being the difficult one

Just to correct your comments that were false, which I did. Theres no reason to look deeper into it. [Insert smiley]

Statement: "Golovkin beats any of your boys"... True or false?

How can either one of these guys be the best in a division they don't fight in?
155 is not a new division. It is part of the middleweight division.

The weight thing with Canelo has me baffled. Anywhere they meet from 154 to 160 will be fine for both fighters since they are no so big to start with.

I doubt that fight will be anywhere and Texas and the beer thing can be worked out. It is called negotiations and can't blame either side trying to maximize their earnings at this point of their careers.

He would beat the fighters I enjoy watching, Yes. They're not "My boys doe" Im not a fanboy. I wont even entertain the silliness in your post just because you got butthurt and defensive over me saying Golovkin isnt THE champion until hes THE champion. The irony in all this is that you're questioning MY logic.

... Do you hold "portions" into such knowledge field? Good for you.

(The fact is I never introduced Golovkin in here -- you did. And with no links to what was said before. Another fact is I don't care what kind of champion Golovkin is -- I'm no Russian and I don't root for Russian fighters. I only like top quality boxing and if some top quality boxers happen to be Russians it isn't my fault. Get it?)

.. You said Golovkin IS the MW Champion--period. I responded by giving examples of how being the better fighter doesnt make you the lineal champion because as fans we should be demanding that those arguments are settled in the ring rather than having fighters duck eachother and saying "OH its okay because that guy is the REAL champion in my eyes" I clearly stated that was the point I was making in my post. You responded in a more defensive manner..boarderline hostile, except you didnt insult me which is debateable actually. Calling my post pointless was silly because all i was doing was expanding the discussion and disagreeing with one of your points, if you didnt want to discuss it you could have easily ignored me. I've had civil exchanges with you in the past.
