Rigondeaux is probably the best active boxer, boxingwise on my list. That fuc*ing dude is the science. Only a blind or a hating mf cant see this. Much respect my own Mexican bantamweights but "Class will be in session" if they step to Rigo. cant hate or cant lie as a boxing fan

It's hard to argue Rigondeux's superior technique and defensive skills. Having said that, I still don't enjoy watching him fight all that much. You can be defensively sound and still create excitement in the ring. Regardless of his defensive supremacy, Rigondeux just doesn't create any sparks for me. On top of that, he seems to have little to no charisma or personality outside the ring and always seems to have a smug expression on his face.
A world title champion with 2 belts after 14 pro bouts and Rigondeux can't get enough interest from a single U.S. network. On paper, that sounds astonishing. But when boxing fans are tiring of boring Mayweather fights with predetermined outcomes, someone like Rigondeux will be avoided like the plague. Sorry Rigondeunians, that's just the way it is.
