WBO/WBA super bantamweight champion Guillermo Rigondeaux was training hard at Jorge Rubio's gym in Miami, Florida. It was officially announced in Tokyo that Japanese OPBF featherweight champion (IBF Eastern and Pacific) Hisashi Amagasa (28-4-2 19 KOs) will challenge Guillermo Rigondeaux (14-0, 9 KOs) for the World Boxing Organization (WBO) title. The World Boxing Association's championship will not be at stake. The fight takes place on major show being staged on the 31st of December at the Bodymaker Colosseum in the city of Osaka.

He called out LSC, Frampton and any champion in his weightclass, it's not up to him, youcan believe...
LSC actaully said a few months later that he wants Rigo and he will beat him etc... and now 2 weaks ago maybe he said in an interview that "Rigo is too boring and he wants more exciting fight." . How's that LSC? You didn't know that he is not that exciting fighter and called him out after that you found out that you want a "more exciting" (= won't school your ass) fighter? So it's hard to fight relevant opponents when everybody ignore you. I know that it's Rigo's fault too but the guy has two belts, the other guys have just one they should be eager for the opportunity to collect Rigo's two belts but they don't do it for an obvious reason. They know that they would lose. But if they know it and they don't want to challange themselves then what else are they than fake champions? And don't come with the talk that "Rigo isn't lucrative", neither was LSC's last few opponents, it was still not a problem that they weren't lucrative, but in Rigo's case it would be a problem. Okay, I get it, it's logical. And Frampton next opponent? Is he that lucrative? We all know that he isn't and still...
And Rigo's best win up to date is way better than Frampton's or LSC's.
So if you really want to attack somebody then look at the other two guys not at Rigo.
