US fans don't know what they missed out on, maybe Jr. will come on and fight overseas, he definitely has some potential imo despite being rough around the edges.

I also think it's hilarious Sr's got all these TMT guys butthurt just by being himself, especially if it's true that J'Leon Love is a loudmouth around the gym.
I think his whole persona would go completely over their heads. They just wouldn't get it.

Has nothing to do with sensitivity and you missed the point. It has to do with respect. Eubanks was a great fighter, so is Mayweather, so was Macho Camacho, but acting like an ass isn't the way to go about doing things.

There is a show for the public, and then there's what you do in the boxing community. Boxers and the boxing community are a fickle group, believe me I know.

You are praised one second and forgotten the next. When you do reach a certain level though, you don't need to tell everyone how great you are, believe me we already know and will let you know how great you are.

Respect and humility, there's nothing wrong or weak about it. As a matter of fact, it shows true strength.

I thought Eubank won the first Watson fight. Always thought that was one of the biggest false controversies ever. To pull the second fight out of the bag when he was being beaten all ends up is a great achievement in itself - something we often praise Froch for doing.

How many fights did Eubank really impress or look impressive?

Only one I consider is the first Benn fight, which I was at in Birmingham.

Both Watson fights, both Close fights, Malinga, Rochigiani, Benn 2, Schomer, Thornton, and more.

He looked from average to outright terrible in all of those, he arguably lost many of them aswell. And a lot of those aren't even good fighters.

I consider his career dead average.

Maybe the second Watson fight caused that, maybe it didn't, but what we do know is how his career played out.
            dead average!

That is one of the most ridiculous things i've ever read on here, and from someone who claims to have watched the sport as long as you have only makes it worse.

Try stepping into a boxing gym sometime.... not to fight just to have a look....i know all these years of watching the sport must have taken their toll but go down a boxing gym sometime instead of just watching it from afar and see how the local gym fighters are treated....yeah the ones with a 10-3 record who have never fought a opponent with a winning record...the local superstars of the area if you like just to get a little idea of whats considered average in professional boxing.

Chris Eubank was a world champ and is a British Boxing legend. He beat fellow great fighters in Nigel Benn and Michael Watson and had god knows how many defences of a world title. If that is dead average then god help the other 99% of professional boxers none of us have ever heard of.

I'm sure DanHamza is comparing Eubank to other world champions and HOFamers and not local club fighters
