If Floyd put up all the cash, then what is GBP writing Floyd a $40mil check for? Why not just promote the event and take the flat fee from Floyd for your services?

Because Mayweather Promotions didn't have a license in Nevada. Without that license, you cannot promote an event independently and receive money surrounding that event independently.

Guess who it was? It was Porter's father behind that decision. His father already did an interview explaining why they are uninterested in fighting Thurman. It's on Youtube.
Man, Haymon can make anyone of his fighters fight whoever he wants in his stable, it was never Porters fight to turn down...it was Al's

And those guys are now signed but no fights between them really? We got Khan fighting a live body, but that's about it. What the hell is he saving Robert Guerrero for? Why not set up a fight with him and Thurman? It's in the contracts that he has last say, so again there is no reason for them fighting bums other than Haymon.

If you heard the interview, you'd hear Kenny Porter explaining CLEARLY that they did NOT want Thurman. Never mentioned Haymon once. Kenny Porter was very clear about it.

Guerrero turned down Thurman already, so Soto-Karass ended up fighting Thurman. And after fighting Floyd, Guerrero had been inactive for over a year, by his OWN doing. At one point, Guerrero even tried breaking out of his contract with Golden Boy because Top Rank whispered Pacquaio into his ear.

Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer has advised BoxingScene.com that Robert Guerrero (31-2, 18KOs) has turned down a proposed fight with undefeated WBA i

Being a poison on the sport is bad no matter what color or race you are.

What has Al Haymon done that is beneficial to the sport as a whole? I'm not talking about the boxers he manages who take b.s fights for big money. I'm talking about the sport as a whole.

Look at Paulie Malignaggi going off on Thurman and telling him to his face that he's not interested! And this is Paulie saying this! What do you think other guys think when Paulie is saying this?! Haha.
