Is anyone sure Rourke isn't just as broke? He's not exactly an A-list movie star over here

edit: Nevermind I just googled rourke and saw his wife... He must be very wealthy

Can the site have a bit more integrity please? Pathetic descriptions like this bring down the quality of the site.

"after a dubious body shot which appeared to strike below the hip before sliding up"

There, not hard is it? This ain't the street, no need to speak da lingo.
lol did it really say "weak ass body shot" hahahahaha

Guy just joined the site 5 months ago and already feels entitled to critcize and talk down my beloved boxingscene.

How can I say this without too much "street lingo"

            Fckoff!

I don't see why people are getting so worked up over this. Did they expect Mickey Rourke (at 62) fight a serious contender? Did they expect him to actually look good regardless? The man is 62...let's spell it out...SIXTY...TWO.
Take it for what it is: an old man that wanted to feel what it was like to step through those ropes again and have a boxing match in front of a crowd...nothing more, nothing less.

Social media sites are crapping on the guy when he wasn't actually going anywhere (boxing career-wise) to begin with. Calm the hell down, people. Grab a book, a cup of coffee, and get off the internet. There is far too much cynicism on the internet.

even if you play one role in a hollywood movie - I bet you become multi-millionaire right away) Mickey comes to Russia pretty often btw. Also even for that weak ass fight I bet Russians payed them good, just for the show.

I actually agree with the poster that thought it was worded improperly. If it comes from posters, then it's fine (in a way). But uploading articles with that kind of terminology just looks embarrassing.

I suppose if you picked up a newspaper and read an article about a gun massacre, you wouldn't be bothered at all if the description of the headline went: "Crazy ass mofo prays and sprays countless poor bastards." ?

                      See what I mean?
