Mickey Rourke's 29-year-old opponent Elliott Seymour is adamant he wasn't paid to take a dive in their big boxing match in Russia this weekend .. telling TMZ Sports Mickey beat him fair and square.

Almost everyone who's seen the fight has called BS on the "knockout" ... with Seymour going down for the count in the 2nd round after a weak ass body shot from the 62-year-old.

I agree 110%. To be fair the writer is TMZ... I dont know if they copied & pasted from the TMZ website or what but this is not the first nor is it the last time Boxingscene.com has published articles from what appears to be elementary and junior-high schoolers moonlighting as boxing writers. Cant they hire an editor to at least give these "articles" [if thats what you want to call them] a once-through before publishing online? At least *********.com has the common sense to proofread articles before they put their seal of approval on something and publish it online.
