Arturo Gatti vs Miguel Cotto???

I was watching "In This Corner With Russ Anber" and he analyzing the 2 fighters and he said that there is a good possibility that we could see them fighting in the near future, if Gatti beats Baldomir.(which will happen)

If this fight does happen who do you think is favoured to win?

Cotto-Torres was a perfect example on how Gatti has a chance at this one. If Cotto plays it smart and sticks to boxing then he's obviously the winner of this one.

I've said before I adore Gatti, one of my favorites, but this is another case where I say. Cotto would beat him up badly and stop him.

How is Torres like Gatti? Maybe a better version. Torrres' counters and punches were quicker and sharpr than Gatti. Gatti is also wikid easy to hit. Cotto will jus pick him apart, bust his fragile face up,then stop him. Gatti just cantt hang w/ the elite,hes never beat an elite fighter. He can hang w/ some good fighters,but evrytime he steps up he gets put right back down. Cotto will end Gattis career,and make a big name for himself doing so. First Branco,then Paulie, then Gatti, the Italian killer Cotto.

I'm not comparing them, I'm saying Cotto's disability to brawl with someone like Gatti would cost him the fight. Look at how he did against Torres when he tried brawling.

I think Gatti would win. I like both fighters a lot but Arturo's problem usually comes from speed guys who can box. Miguel can box some for sure but the difference in speed won't be vast. Miguel is quicker but not by a a margin Gatti's power couldn't overcome. I'd pick Gatti by KO but either way I think it'd ba a FOY candidate and not likely at all to go 12

cotto needs to obviously fight a quality oppenent. I can't believe people buy his pay-per-views when he fights nobodys on short notice...he's over rated
