Glaser, who everybody believes when Floyds numbers are low said on twitter the ppv is very disappointing and wont be released because of it. Same guy who first reported GB troubles and Floyds under a mill numbers so don't try and act like he isn't legit now

Usually, less than a week after a Floyd fight, Fat Dan Rafael will report a number that comes from his sources (aka Bob Arum) that always turns out to be false.

Fat Dan hasn't said a word about the Pac/Algieri numbers because Bob Arum has instructed him not to. Fat Dan won't say a word about Pac's PPV numbers unless Arum tells him to because he knows if he does, he will no longer get press passes to Top Rank events and, more importantly, won't get to raid the buffet table at Top Rank promotional events.

no one is expecting big numbers for this fight that's why it was in Macau where the casino pays tons of cash for it. If they expected halfway decent numbers it would have been in the US.

They should be low. Its Algieri ffs. And in hindsight good move for whomever didn't buy. We shouldn't have to pay for trash.

I am sure the number is less than the 400,000 that paid for the Rios fight. But I am sure the idiots on this site will still believe that Bob Arum paid Pacquaio more than $20 million for a fight that drew 300,000 on PPV and sold 13,000 seats.

Dude, there is no way TR would revoke ESPN's main boxing writer his press credential.

What's the point of this thread? Did anybody really think Pacquiao in Algeiri live from China was going to do big numbers? This was expected....only Floyd fans were consumed with PPV numbers running with the excuse of "Pac does not sell more PPV's then Floyd" as another excuse for not making the fight.

Even though i think this will be Pacquiaos worst PPV since David Diaz you shouldn't take this guy seriously.

If the numbers weren't halfway decent for this fight, how many people do you think will buy Pacquaio/Vargas, which will be held in the U.S?
