So Terence Crawford is the great new hope

Tbh, I don't really see much special here, everything is good but not ''great'' he's draining himself badly to make 135 and doesn't have much pop there, he won't have much pop at 140 for sure.

I wasn't too impressed with him against Burns, and he was in trouble against a natural featherweight in Gamboa...

Doesn't really have the ''it'' factor.

He's not an atg by any means but he's getting the job done. His ability to adapt against gamboa was actually a beautiful thing to see as it happened. He just really beat the number 2 guy in the division. He's gone up and defeated an ok opponent in Prescott.

Every fighter has flaws but he works around them. He has various options he switches from during a fight so I respect that. I'd like to see him vs a top 15 guy at 140 before he goes after the big dogs. I'm sold on this guy.

Is any boxer good and not overrated or a hypejob by your standards?

No fighter is perfect. We're spoiled because in the last 10 years we've seen once in a lifetime talents like Floyd and Pacquiao.

But that doesn't mean other fighters aren't good. Terrance has beaten really solid competition and has dominated them.

That is all you can ask for.

As far as the draining think, thats BS. If you can make the weight, you can fight in that weight.

vaquez is the true number 1 and 2 is April so no he didn't beat number 1 or two in the division. Crawford didn't do crap at 135

Does the guy in my sig have the "it" factor? I hear he's resigned as a police officer and is going to be coming to boxing really soon. He's to be signed by Main Events or Top Rank sometime soon... he wants to join team Haymon though. Sources close to the information say he's dropped Wlad Klitschko in sparring and Abel Sanchez his new trainer wouldn't comment on the situation until a bum radiocast asks him.

Yes, because he KO'd a 130 pounder and beat a sparing partner who beat a European bum (Ricky burns) to earn a reputation as a tough test for him. He definitely deserves fighter of the year based on that.

I have liked crawford ever since I first saw him a few years ago.. The kid is top shelf and will be a fixture on p4p lists for the foreseeable future

His best trait is his mental toughness and competitive spirit... You saw it when Beltran tagged him, crawford would come roaring back and not give an inch.. Crawford has the goods in the head and heart...
