If he's going to fight a Haymon fighter, why would he fight Matthysse instead of Garcia? Matthysse isn't plan B for the reason Mayweather doesn't utter his name. He's too high risk/low reward.

I have no problem with that. Danny Garcia still has the credentials as being the best 140 pounder on the planet. Certainly a far more attractive opponent than Jessie Vargas.

And Freddie Roach has expressed interest which is why I'm wondering if being with Al Haymon is just an excuse that they use when it's convenient.
