Comments Thread For: Report: Mickey Rourke Beats Up 'Diving' Homeless Man

Just when you thought Mickey Rourke's ring return couldn't get any worse, British newspaper Daily Mail spoke to a source close to opponent Elliot Seymour's family, who said the 29-year-old 1-9 boxer has been living on the streets for the last 18 months and was looking to make some money around the holidays. Seymour is claimed to be spending most of his time living in Memorial Park in downtown Pasadena. [Click Here To Read More]

LOL, wow. I don't know whether to laugh or just be completely disgusted. SMH. But then again, they helped a homeless man with some money... Very mixed feelings about this.

Lol, even though the fight was a farce I still think Rourke getting in the ring at 62 is something to be admire. We have a lot of keyboard warriors on here calling fighters bums or cowards but not one of them have the guts to do 2 rounds with those bums.

Regarding the fight the way Seymour took that dive was a bit ******, he could have waited till he got hit with something more meaty before going down.

Hmm, this the same Mickey Rourke who is being trained by Freddie Roach? The same Freddie Roach who said he would tell any of his fighters when it was time to hang up the gloves. If Freddie Roach was okay with Mickey putting gloves back on, some 30 years later, what in the heck does he have planned for Manny Pac when he turns 62? What a farce.

The headline at first made it sound like Mickey was beating up pan handler.

dont u get it dude there is nothing to be inspired about besides that hes rich enough to pay off someone to take a dive the guy didnt even punch him whats so inspiring about that? did u argue that it wasnt fixed at one point or something?
