UFC is also 500 million $ in debt, and EBIDTA just projected a 40% loss in profit this year along with downgrading there credit rating.

Saying a sport or company is dying is a overused comment.

But UFC has some serious trouble coming up, especially since it looks as the sport of MMA has already hit it's peek.
yeah its sad 285kid is in denial or he is late to the game and just started following UFC hardcore now instead of casually.

UFC is not hot anymore, I still remember Dana white leaving ****e tv and signing the FOX deal before that he said once UFC gets on FOX or network tv it will take over it will be as big as nascar, as big as american idol and it will crush boxing because boxing is your grand parents sport and its boring to the young kids now, look what happened, they got the fox deal and their ratings took a steady decline.

Their ppv numbers are bad, very bad, 100-200k buys on average now, and this is bad because they heavily promote their brand and have way more exposure than boxing does. If Boxing was on network TV again it would be huge, UFC just isn't attractive to casual fans anymore because its too complicated and casuals like the stand up more than the ground game. Boxing died down because of PPV but when it was still on mainstream TV it was one of the most watched sports in the world.

UFC has free shows and ppv, and its lost interest with the public and now resorts to selling sexy women fighters as their top draws.

The owners of the UFC are probably going to sell the company soon, they have a fall back anyone which is their casinos.

This why I lost respect for Rogan, he was cool before when he would expose Carlos Mencia but now he is nothing but an over the hill company man.

I still cringe at him saying UFC will eat up Boxing, and all this crap. This dude STILL WATCHES BOXING and talks about it to this day on his podcast!!! he is similar to Alex Jones he is a snake oil salesman trying to exaggerate conspiracies to make him look hip and cool but he is part of the system himself he also promotes his own supplements.

Joe and Dana are huge boxing fans who **** on boxing, how can anyone respect them when they are walking contradiction hypocrites.
People forget, Dana white was a boxercise instructor for old ladies before he got to the UFC.

It will be interesting to see what the Fertittas do. That 500 mill $ bill is due soon. I don't believe for a second The Fertittas plan on paying it.

It's also widely believed they used a large chunk of that to pay there Casino costs.

The Fertittas either knew UFC would decline and they leveraged the heck out of it while they could, OR they gambled big in continued growth and lost.

From the outside the company looks like it's in a very bad place right now.

DAna white has a boxing background and Joe Rogan is a big boxing fan.....but he works for UFC why on earth would him or Dana White admit to UFC falling off....They have to promote the UFC regardless of their personal feelings towards boxing

UFC actually rekindled my love of boxing. I am a fan of both sports (boxing more obviously) but neither sport can die as long as there are fight fans in this world. And there will ALWAYS be fight fans.

My cousin convinced me to stay up with him and watch a UFC card, it was pretty good cos the entire card was first round KO's pretty much, and lots of action, but I still have no interest in watching it.

ya boxing is beating mma even tho mma is designed to find a bigger audience. what mma failed to mention was that boxing has gone up and down in eyes of the public for over 100 years its nothing new if pac mayweather fight it will give boxing a ton of new fans. Plus when dana started saying how mma gives the fans what they want when boxingt wont and was unable to make the biggest of big fights it kind of lost its luster
